Self-understanding Workshop: Power of Career Interest (CIW1/21-22)
You may be struggling with finding your career path. Apart from considering the cost-effectiveness and opinion of significant others, have you ever explored the power of your interest? In this workshop, you will engage in a story-telling process through reviewing your experience of fulfilment, activities that interest you most, the moment you felt proud of yourself or even trivial memories in daily life. This discovery of personal stories will facilitate your self-understanding on career interest and enhance decision making in future.
At the end of the workshop, YOU WILL:
- Become clearer about your interest through story-telling process
- Connect your interest with academic and career development
- Start to rebuild a motivated and passionate self

The theme of this leather workshop is “Take You Away”. Everyone can take a time-out from your stressful days, enjoy a care-free time to create a unique piece for yourself and your best soul mate. Through crafting your own leather piece, you will learn more about the chemistry in relationships, getting along with people, understanding and tolerating each other and building a stronger bonding.

導師簡介
Eva早年畢業於香港理工大學紡織及設計系，及後一直從事有關時裝設計工作，至2008年開始研習皮革工藝。她於2014年成立個人工作室，除了出品客製化皮具，亦定期開辦皮革工作坊，教授基本的製作技巧，鼓勵參與者在過程中注入自己的想法，創造既實用又別具心思的皮革小物。
香薰擴香器工作坊 Essential Oil Diffuser Workshop (EOD1/21-22)
Handmade essential oil diffusers made by participants
Essential oils capture the aroma of nature, from fruits, plants, and wood, etc. While carrying a scent to freshen up the environment, essential oils also play a role to help relax your nerves and relieve your stress.
Interestingly, there are now more sayings that odor evokes memories and stimulates emotions.
So, join this workshop to enjoy an aromatic experience and create a self-soothing memory of your own taste!

About the trainer:
Ms. Perine Cheng specializes in creating handmade soap, skincare and cleaning products from all-natural ingredients. She is enthusiastic in promoting an environmentally friendly and simplistic lifestyle in her work. More than 200 participants have made their own eco-soaps in her classes.
Pastel Nagomi Art Mini Workshop @ CoPE Ding Ding
Pastel Nagomi Art is a form of healing art founded in Japan in 2003. It is an approachable and heart-touching art that uses fingers to create different techniques. The word “Nagomi” has a meaning of harmonious in Japanese, which symbolises the aim of the founder in creating a peaceful social environment and promoting self-care.
In the workshop, you will be taught with skills to create your art pieces. It is totally fine to join even if you have no drawing experience. Throughout the drawing process, you will be able to create your own piece of artwork and relieve your stress!

Balloon Twisting Handicraft Workshop @ CoPE Ding Ding
Chinese YMCA employs people with Hearing Impairment (HI) and trains them into professional specialists in balloon arts. Professional balloon-arts instructors give lessons to trainees in accordance to their ability and skills, creating small balloon gifts to participants on requests.
You will learn some simple sign languages, balloon twisting techniques and skills in this workshop, as well as creating some cute balloons gifts for your friends and yourself!
