8. Relaxation Through Arts (NEW) (RTA1/16-17)

Arts is life. Life is arts. We all have experienced the power of arts (e.g. visiting gallery, painting, playing music and enjoying drama) where we could find the joy and peace in heart. In this workshop, arts is being taken as the main media for self-expression and communication. In a stress-free and non-judgmental atmosphere, you will be given various arts materials to explore your inner recourses and have great fun with your peers.

By the end of the workshop, you will have:

  • reduced your stress level and had lots of fun
  • felt empowered by the power of imagination in arts
  • explored your creativity to enhance self-resilience

About the trainer: Ms Maria Pang is a registered art psychotherapist in UK. She graduated from the Master of Art Psychotherapy in Goldsmiths Collage, University of London. She also attained the Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology, Postgraduate Diploma of Education and Bachelor of Arts. She is also the professional member of Hong Kong Association of Art Therapists. 

Over the 10 years, she has been working for students with different educational needs, patients with mental distress, chronic illness or intellectual disabilities, as well as women having children with special needs and those in domestic violence. She also devoted herself in promoting the power of art therapy with her 1000> pieces of collage art. Art exhibitions have been held in HKU, CUHK and JCCAC recently. 


9. Mindfulness Relaxation Exercises for Well-being (MRW1/16-17) (MRW2/16-17)

Learn how to relax yourself mindfully and see how this can be built into your daily schedule to help you manage your everyday stress more effectively. This workshop will provide you with a new experience of serenity through mindfulness relaxation.

At the end of the workshop, you will have:

  • experienced basic mindfulness practice
  • enhanced your awareness of the present
  • learned to relax your body and mind

Coffee workshop Series –

Nowadays, it is common to see people drinking coffee to re-energize themselves – but do you know that brewing coffee with your friends can be very relaxing as well? Join our experienced barista at cafe330 to boost your coffee knowledge, try coffee brewing, make cool latte art and have fun with your fellow peers!

Workshop content:

  • Basic knowledge & theory of coffee
  • Coffee bean origins
  • Coffee cupping: aroma, sweetness, acidity, body, flavor, aftertaste
  • Tasting coffee roasted in 4 different continents: Asia, South Africa, South America & Central America

11. The Brew Journey 各國咖啡器具沖調班 (COBJ1/16-17) (COBJ2/16-17)

Workshop content:

  • Introduce different types of coffee brewing methods: French Press, Clever Cup, Siphon coffee maker & Moka pot
  • Introduce different types of coffee grinders; different size coffee grounds for different brewing methods
  • Make coffee with different brewing methods and tasting
