1. Registration Method
Registration begins at 10:00 am, 13 Sept 2016 (Tue) at Room 323, Main Building
(i) In person –
Any interested students can come to CEDARS – Counselling and Person Enrichment (CEDARS-CoPE) office at Room 323, Main Building for enrollment.

Sat | 9:00 am – 1:00 pm |
*Priority will be given to students who register in-person.
(ii) Email & Cheque:
(1) Send an email which includes your personal information (full name, university number, faculty, year of study and contact number) and the title(s) of the workshop(s) you wish to join to cedars-cope@hku.hk. (Email applications received before 10:00 am on 13 Sept 2016 will NOT be processed.)
(2) Mail a crossed cheque made payable to: “The University of Hong Kong” for the total sum of deposit(s) and course fee(s) to the following address within 2 working days from the time you sent your email:

On the back of the cheque, please write your name, university number and the title(s) of the workshop(s) you wish to register for.
2. Registration Rules and Refund Policy
Workshop deposit
You are required to pay a $100 deposit for each workshop, and a course fee for most workshops. Please refer to individual workshop description for details.
The deposit is refundable after you have signed in and attended the ENTIRE workshop (ie. without absence, late arrivals and early leaves).
You must come to CEDARS – Counselling and Person Enrichment (CEDARS-CoPE) at Room 323, Main Building in order to claim your deposit within the following prescribed period of time; otherwise, your deposit will be forfeited.
*Starting Date: 5 working days after the completion of the workshop
*Last Date: One month after the completion of the workshop
Workshop fee
Fees charged for workshops are non-refundable except in cases where:
-There is an announcement of cancellation of the workshop by CEDARS-CoPE due to specific reasons; or
-A student on the waiting list of the workshop for which you have registered agrees to take your place.
Cancellation of workshop by CEDARS-CoPE
Workshops that do not meet the minimum class size will be cancelled.
Withdrawal
If for any reason you are unable to attend a workshop for which you have registered, you should notify us as soon as possible. There is no refund of fees (except in the cases specified above). However, for the refund of deposits, you must send an email (email subject: Person Enrichment Workshops) to cedars-cope@hku.hk no later than 3 working days before the commencement of the workshop. The refund will only be made during the prescribed period of time mentioned above*.
Absence due to sickness
You may have your course fee and deposit refunded if you can provide a medical certificate showing that you are sick. The refund will only be made during the prescribed period of time mentioned above*.
Important notes
To avoid any waste of resources, please notify us if you are unable to attend any workshop(s) in which you have enrolled so that another student may take your place and benefit from them. Your cooperation is very much appreciated.
If you have financial difficulties which prevent you from taking part in the Person Enrichment workshop(s), you may send an email to cedars-cope@hku.hk
