Mindfulness Exercises for Well-being

“Mindfulness is the awareness that arises from paying attention on purpose, in the present moment non-judgmentally in the service of self-understanding, wisdom, and compassion.” – Jon Kabat-Zinn

Mindfulness can be described as being completely awake and present, moment by moment to what is happening within us and around us. It allows us to stay calm and make sane choices in face of daily stresses.

AT THE END OF THE WORKSHOP, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Experienced basic mindfulness practices
  • Enhanced your awareness of the present
  • Learnt to take better care of yourself

Calming Your Self-critical Mind with Kindness & Compassion (SCW1/20-21)

Are you always harsh and mean to yourself?
Do you keep comparing yourself to others or judging your every move to motivate yourself?
Do you feel down, demotivated, trapped, all alone, or like a failure as a result?
Would you consider yourself weak and fragile for having these painful emotions?

Activities:

  • Experiential exercises (e.g. mindfulness exercise)
  • Some time for personal reflections

Mean

Self-understanding Workshop: The Power of Career Interest (CIW1/20-21)

– 從說故事當中探索自己的興趣;
– 嘗試將興趣連結所讀學科及就業發展;
