Leadership and Life Skills Training Programme 2019

(please scroll down for English version)

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY

COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.

Leadership and Life Skills Training Programme 2019

Uncover your “blind self”

Count the number of “F”s in the following sentence. Read it as soon as possible and only count once.

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY

COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.

How many Fs did you count? Three, four, five or six?

There are six Fs in the above paragraph. If you did not see them all, you probably missed the Fs in OF.

The above test shows how our brain operates in automatic mode. We are bombarded by billions of information every day. Our brain is wired to help us filter information that does not seem to be important or thinks it already know. However, this automatic mode often leads us to make biased judgment/decision which may not be the best to deal with the situation.

There may be a part of you that is not known to yourself that impedes your leadership development. Some may not recognize their potentials inside, leaving it underdeveloped. Some may engage in unhealthy habits in teamwork that hinder communication.

This programme will shed light on your “blind self” in the areas of critical thinking and to tackle real-life challenges under team contexts. We envision to expand your skills to manage both internal and external conflicts, strengthen your resilience to combat stress and let your leadership potentials flourish!

Learning Objectives:

1. Enhancing critical thinking
• Identifying the essential elements that you have been missing in critical thinking
• Fostering self-monitoring

• Enhancing awareness of the moment-to-moment changes of the group dynamics
