We are living in a globalised world with news circulating across the Internet in no time. Just with a click on your smartphone, you can catch a glimpse of the latest news happening thousands of miles away. To facilitate some in-depth understanding and discussion on significant international and regional news, Global News Chat invites students from various backgrounds to share their personal views and insights on the issues that they care about.

In the previous sessions, students from the UK, India, Norway, Maldives, Singapore, Poland, Hong Kong, and mainland China, have been our hosts. While in last semester, we had some in-depth discussion on Cryptocurrencies and Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). We would like to invite student hosts to share on hot global issues, e.g. NFT (non-fungible token), justice and human rights, etc. If you want to share and hear what’s happening in your countries and around the world, please sign up!
